Maxell Group Information Security Policy
Maxell Group handles various types of information, including technical data and information entrusted to us by our customers. To respect the value of this information, we have established and are committed to an information management system. In light of this background, we will establish rules and a management structure for maintaining information security within the Maxell Group, and will establish Information Security Policy and supporting documents in order to adequately protect the information assets handled by the Maxell Group. We will also ensure that the members of the group, including executives and employees, are informed of this policy, taking appropriate measures to ensure that the general public can easily access the Maxell Group Information Security Policy. In accordance with this policy, we will strive to maintain appropriate information security.
1. Development and Continuous Improvement of Information Security Management Rules
Maxell Group recognizes that information security is one of the significant issues in management and operations, and will establish information security management rules in compliance with applicable laws and other norms. Furthermore, we will establish a group-wide information security management system and implement it steadfastly. Additionally, we will maintain and continuously improve organizational, personnel, physical, and technical information security.
2. Protection and Continuous Management of Information Assets
Maxell Group will take appropriate management measures to protect information assets against threats to their confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Furthermore, we will implement appropriate management measures to ensure business continuity.
3. Compliance with Laws and Norms
Maxell Group will comply with laws and norms related to information security. We will align our information security management rules with these laws and norms, and appropriate disciplinary actions will be taken in accordance with employment regulations if violations occur.
4. Education and Training
Maxell Group will enhance the awareness of information security among its executives and employees and will conduct education and training related to information security.
5. Accident Prevention and Response to Incidents
Maxell Group will strive to prevent information security incidents and, in the event of an incident, will promptly implement appropriate measures, including recurrence prevention measures.
6. Ensuring Proper Execution of Operations
Maxell Group will work towards establishing a system to ensure proper execution of operations throughout the entire Maxell Group in accordance with the provisions outlined in items 1 through 5.
